Growth Stories: Eveline’s Journey at Twipe

Hi, I’m Eveline! With my background in Psychology and Social Work, a SaaS Scale-up company might not seem like the obvious fit, but my journey at Twipe has been a wild and fun rollercoaster ride.

Let me take you through my Twipe story. 

What was your first role at Twipe, and how has your career evolved? 

I started at Twipe as the first-ever Talent Acquisition Lead in 2021, a brand-new role that came with endless opportunities for improvement. It was a chance to establish processes from the ground up and build the company to where we are now.  

But it didn’t stop there.  

Since then, I’ve expanded my responsibilities, stepping into payroll, organizing company events, and eventually growing the Talent and Office Team. Since January 2024, I’ve become the Talent & Office Team Leader. Recently, I’ve also started exploring marketing, which has opened a whole new world of learning for me. At Twipe, every day feels like a stepping stone to something bigger. 

What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned at Twipe? 

The most important lesson? That every single day is a learning experience. At Twipe, growth isn’t just encouraged—it’s expected. We’re never satisfied with the status quo, which can feel challenging at times, but that’s where the magic happens. With the right growth mindset, you can push boundaries and achieve amazing things. Twipe’s culture has taught me to embrace discomfort as a sign of progress and to turn every challenge into an opportunity. 

Can you share a memorable moment that marked a turning point in your career? 

How can I pick just one? Over the past 3.5 years, I’ve had so many defining moments. From launching Twipe’s Mobility Budget to winning a Twipe Award with my team for our Team Building event, every moment has felt like a (big or small) step in my career. Each of these experiences taught me something new about leadership, collaboration, humbleness, and innovation—and reinforced my belief in the power of teamwork, but most importantly appreciation of each other. 

How has Twipe helped you grow professionally? 

Twipe has been the perfect environment for growth. I’ve had the freedom to take on new responsibilities, stretch beyond my comfort zone, and refine my skills. One of the most impactful moments for me was receiving a lot of direct, constructive feedback. It was something I was not used to in the past and to be honest, I had a difficult time in the beginning with the amount of feedback. But now I see how that feedback helped me grow—not just professionally but also personally.  

After all these years, what makes Twipe’s culture unique? 

It’s the people! Every day, I get to work alongside talented, driven individuals who are united by a shared passion for innovation. And the fact that we’re helping news publishers across the globe shape the future of news? That’s just icing on the cake. What really sets Twipe apart is the big challenges we tackle, but we also know how to celebrate our successes together. 

What’s next? 

Who knows? At Twipe, the possibilities are endless. With so much to learn and explore, I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next. What I do know is that I’ll continue embracing a growth mindset and curiosity—because those are the driving forces behind everything we achieve.
