Why are we hiring?  

As we are accelerating our growth in the DACH region (Germany, Austria & Switzerland), Dana is looking for a Senior Business Developer to join her team and help us drive business growth, strengthening our position in the market and positioning Twipe as the tech leader in News Apps and Edition Distribution. 

What do you do? 

  • You define a sales strategy with aim of reaching specific accounts in the DACH media market 
  • You take ownership of a portfolio of accounts and identify and nurture new leads  
  • You build a network of trusted C-level decision-makers in the news media sector  
  • You develop key commercial relationships with the target prospect decision-making units  
  • You write proposals, draft contracts, and order forms and organize, prepare and follow up on demos and presentations  
  • You quickly understand the business model and technical framework of customers and prospects and how our technology can help them grow  
  • You challenge your prospects in their vision, and articulate relevant product and commercial proposals that lead to signups (« Challenger Sale »)

  • You have a keen interest in the news media industry and journalism 

Your track record 

  • You have at least 4 years of relevant experience in managing end-to-end sales cycles, from top to bottom of the funnel, in a relevant sector (tech, media, etc.) 
  • You show a strong track record dealing successfully with German, Austrian and Swiss market  
  • You are native in German and fluent in English  
  • You are experienced in technology sales, preferably Enterprise SaaS  
  • You are familiar with the Customer Challenger or Challenger Sale Method
