Twipe was chosen as the innovation partner by Telegraph Media Group to work on their recently relaunched daily edition app.
The Digital Edition app is the full, daily edition of The Telegraph newspaper, delivered to subscriber devices. The team was looking for a strong partner to bring the daily digital edition to the next level of engagement and reliability. Through collaboration with Twipe, a refreshed version of the daily digital edition was successfully launched earlier this year.
The digital edition is now created daily by The Telegraph’s team via Twipe’s NextGen Edition Creation Technology and distributed via Twipe’s Edition Distribution platform to beautiful mobile apps on iOS, Android and Kindle.
Through this collaboration project:
- The Telegraph has seen a 30% growth of daily active users on the digital edition
- Readers now have a refreshed and rich product based on a set of 30 different customised templates carefully designed to match the brand’s identity
- The Telegraph’s editorial team has gained efficiencies in the production process by moving the creation to Twipe’s NextGen Edition Creation Technology
- Twipe has introduced a new generation of kiosk apps, where ease-of-use and smooth access have been significantly improved
