European iPad research by Sanoma: reading news most popular feature

Sanoma carried out a European-wide survey on the iPad. 3,673 users were surveyed in six European countries (Belgium,the Netherlands, Finland, Russia, Hungary, and Germany).

What’s interesting is that around one-third of respondents have downloaded more than 50 apps and over half the respondents have 6 paid apps in their collection.

Further is the iPad taking a more prominent place in the European households. 73 percent of those interviewed said they use their laptop or desktop computer less. Mainly using the device during the evenings in the living room (83%).
