It’s exactly one year ago that Twipe and Ouest-France launched “L’Edition du Soir”, the first digital-only evening edition in France. We are proud to announce that this evening edition is now available on smartphone. The already beautiful tablet templates were translated in new smartphone templates to offer a first in class reading experience on iPhone and Android Smartphone. The layout has been adapted to these smaller screens, but still offers the dynamic and interactive user experience as on tablet. This new entertaining publishing format is already growing the Ouest-France readership. At launch their mobile access increased with more than 60%.
Ouest-France is the largest French newspaper publisher. The newspaper is produced in 53 different editions. With 2.5 million daily readers (and a circulation of almost 800.000 units), it is the most read Francophone newspaper in the world.
